strategic communications for engagement

sector - energy and industrial services

  • The challenge

We partnered with a client navigating organisational change and rapid growth. The organisation faced silos in messaging and a lack of cohesive communication infrastructure. Leaders needed support to align messaging with change efforts and keep employees informed, involved and energised. The task was to strengthen employee engagement and internal alignment across a dispersed workforce.

  • Our approach

We delivered a strategic internal communications programme that aligned teams, supported change and strengthened engagement. Through collaborative discovery, tailored messaging and structured rollout plans, we enabled clear communication from leadership to regional teams. Our work included survey design and analysis, editorial content, event facilitation and the launch of a central intranet hub, driving insight led decisions and ongoing collaboration.

  • Our recommendations

Creating communications champions across business units, embedding continuous listening and feedback loops and strengthening the connection between messaging KPIs and culture metrics. Expanding intranet functionality was also advised to foster team connection, not just information sharing.

Leadership team around a desk
The real shift was people owning communication, not just waiting for updates, and at all levels. Having champions, listening more and creating space to connect really changed how we work together.
